We are seeking a Full-time CAD Operator/Designer to join our Nashville office. This in-office, civil engineering-focused role supports land development projects ranging from conceptual layout designs to full construction drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of on-the-job AutoCAD experience or CAD certification preferred
• Civil 3D experience is a plus and will be reflected in compensation; training is available for candidates proficient in AutoCAD
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work from engineering specifications and zoning requirements
• A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• 2D drafting of site layouts such as parking lots, retail centers, apartments, schools, warehouses, and subdivisions
• 2D paperspace setup and sheet organization for plan sets
• Exhibit and map creation utilizing GIS shapefiles and imagery
• 3D design and layout of utility networks with associated profiles
• 3D corridor modeling and/or grading techniques
• 3D surface modeling and data analysis
