HR and People Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced HR and People Operations Coordinator in Nashville to help create an exceptional employee experience from recruiting and onboarding through every stage of the employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating organized processes, and supporting a culture where people and business can thrive together.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Assist in recruiting activities and interview scheduling.
  • Source passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Support and promote candidate communication and hiring logistics.
  • Maintain recruiting metrics and applicant tracking.
  • Coordinate pre-employment activities, partnering with hiring managers and shared services teams to create a welcoming, smooth, and organized onboarding experience tailored by role.
  • Continuously improve the new hire experience as the company grows.

Benefits & Employee Support

  • Serve as the trusted resource for employees throughout their employment.
  • Coordinate benefit enrollments and qualifying life events.
  • Support annual Open Enrollment planning and activities.
  • Ensure vacation and time off programs, holiday schedules, and leave tracking are maintained.

People Operations & HR Administration

  • Keep our people processes organized, compliant, and running smoothly.
  • Coordinate company performance reviews in meaningful and timely cadence.
  • Maintain employee records and HR systems.
  • Ensure employment documentation and regulatory reporting are completed accurately and on time.

Employee Experience, Culture & Internal Communications

  • Help make CSDG an exceptional place to work by creating meaningful employee experiences and clear internal communication.
  • Coordinate employee recognition, appreciation initiatives, milestone celebrations, holiday gatherings, and company meetings.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure employees receive timely, engaging, and consistent communication related to HR programs, benefits, company updates, and organizational initiatives.
  • Support communications, internal announcements, and other employee-facing messaging that strengthens our culture.

Continuous Improvement

  • Recommend ways to improve our HR processes.
  • Partner with managers to drive stronger engagement and communication.
  • Help implement new people programs and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and templates.
  • Support additional HR initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of HR, recruiting, or people operations experience
  • Strong organization and follow-through
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • High attention to detail
  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities
  • Strong customer-service mindset
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with HRIS or benefits platforms, and LinkedIn Recruiter preferred
