Caption by Hyatt

The site for Caption by Hyatt is approximately 0.45 acres and is located at the corner of 12th Avenue South and McGavock Street. As part of the redevelopment, CSDG worked closely with the project team, coordinating with Metro to obtain permits and approvals for site and infrastructure improvements. The 12-story building includes a below-grade 4-level parking garage, 210 guest rooms, a fitness center, and meeting rooms with an outdoor terrace. The main floor features a lobby and lounge, Caption by Hyatt's signature cafe, the Talk Shop, a convenience market, and a separate restaurant space. Construction on the hotel began in the summer of 2023.
