June Lake

Spring Hill, TN

Spring Hill is growing quickly, shaped by its location along Interstate 65 and the daily movement of people traveling between Nashville and Columbia. With that growth comes a choice: respond to demand as it happens, or step in early and help guide what that growth becomes. Southeast Venture chose the latter.

At June Lake, their vision began with a simple yet meaningful idea: create a place where people can live, work, and spend time without leaving their community. The new interstate interchange set that vision in motion, opening access to what will become 3.9 million square feet of commercial space and bringing new jobs closer to home for residents in Spring Hill and beyond.

From there, the plan unfolds in a way that feels intentional rather than pieced together. A town amenity center anchors the development, designed to bring people together through restaurants, retail, and everyday experiences. Surrounding it, a mix of more than 2,900 residences creates a community that supports people at different stages of life, from young professionals to growing families to those seeking a simpler lifestyle. Parks, trails, and event spaces are woven throughout, giving people opportunities to be outside, connect with neighbors, and build routines around the place they live. That vision is already taking shape.

Residents have begun moving into Solstice, where apartments are connected to the Aenon Creek greenway and designed around shared amenities that support daily life. At Saddlewalk, new homes and an amenity center are quickly forming a neighborhood designed for both activity and ease, while The Preserve offers a more intimate residential setting with thoughtful details and a quieter pace. At the same time, the first commercial buildings are preparing for vertical construction, with new businesses on the way and additional neighborhoods continuing to build momentum across the site.

Behind the scenes, bringing a project of this scale to life takes careful coordination. Planning, civil engineering, and landscape architecture all play a role in making sure each piece connects, from how roads and infrastructure support future growth to how outdoor spaces feel and function over time. CSDG has partnered alongside Southeast Venture and the broader team to help carry that vision forward, aligning each phase so the community grows with purpose.

But what makes June Lake stand out isn’t just its scale or mix of uses. It’s the intention behind it. Southeast Venture is creating more than a development. They’re helping shape how a community grows, giving people a place where they can spend less time commuting, more time connecting, and ultimately feel like they’re part of something that was designed with them in mind from the start.
