The McMinnville Parks

CSDG is providing master planning, construction documents, and construction administration for two TDEC grant-funded park projects in McMinnville, TN: Bobby Ray Wetland Park and Potter Lane Park.

Bobby Ray Wetland Park will transform a 5-acre site into a sustainable green space with a boardwalk, wetland garden, rain gardens, and permeable paver parking. The project focuses on rehabilitating onsite wetlands through hydrophytic planting and creating a conservation easement to protect the area long-term.

Potter Lane Park addresses stormwater management challenges identified through a watershed study and will convert a 2-acre site into a functional, educational park featuring a wetland garden, rain gardens, permeable paver parking, and a detention pond designed to manage a 100-year/24-hour storm event.

Both projects aim to reduce downstream flooding and increase community awareness of green infrastructure through educational placards that promote conservation and engagement.
